Born and raised in Chandrapur—the very gateway to the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve—the forest has always been his backyard. By day, Vivek is a dedicated software professional, but his true calling lies in the wild. This unique balance between the tech world and the natural world brings a meticulous, analytical edge to his wildlife tracking and photography.
His extensive knowledge of the local ecosystem allows him to predict tiger movements and position guests for the perfect shot. Whether you are a professional photographer or a nature enthusiast, a safari with Vivek is a masterclass in the wild.
Equipped with his namesake workhorse—the legendary Nikon D850—Vivek shoots with a versatile arsenal. He primarily pairs it with the Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6 for immense wildlife reach and the fast 70-200mm f/2.8 for low-light environmental portraits. He also relies on a nimble secondary setup featuring a Nikon D5600 paired with a 70-300mm lens, ensuring he never misses a sudden close-up or unexpected action. This comprehensive gear allows him to capture the deep, raw intensity of the Tadoba jungles in stunning detail.
